You need a recognized nursing degree/diploma, at least two years of professional nursing experience, and a commitment to learn Finnish. You must also meet the general requirements for a Finnish residence permit.

Your entry-level position is Assistance Nurse. You will assist and care for patients in hospitals, health centres, and elderly care. After relocation, you will begin a paid apprenticeship to become a fully licensed Practical Nurse (lähihoitaja) approved by the Finnish Valvira authority.

The process has five key stages: (1) Eligibility & Selection, (2) Finnish Language Training (to A2 level), (3) Residence Permit Application, (4) Relocation to Finland, and (5) Paid Apprenticeship Programme.

An apprenticeship is a paid job where you learn and gain experience. Alongside on-the-job training, apprentices spend at least 20% of their working hours in classroom-based learning, leading to a nationally recognised qualification in Finland.

No. There are no administrative or recruitment fees to join our process or to be matched with an employer.

We believe in full transparency. You pay directly for your language training, residence permit/VFS fees, and medical/police certificates. Zotno will refund the language training and permit fees after your successful relocation and start of employment. Flight tickets are paid by you in advance; reimbursement depends on the hiring company’s policy. There are no hidden fees.
