How do I apply?

You need a recognized nursing degree/diploma, at least two years of professional nursing experience, and a commitment to learn Finnish. You must also meet the general requirements for a Finnish residence permit.

Your entry-level position is Assistance Nurse. You will assist and care for patients in hospitals, health centres, and elderly care. After relocation, you will begin a paid apprenticeship to become a fully licensed Practical Nurse (lähihoitaja) approved by the Finnish Valvira authority.

The process has five key stages: (1) Eligibility & Selection, (2) Finnish Language Training (to A2 level), (3) Residence Permit Application, (4) Relocation to Finland, and (5) Paid Apprenticeship Programme.

An apprenticeship is a paid job where you learn and gain experience. Alongside on-the-job training, apprentices spend at least 20% of their working hours in classroom-based learning, leading to a nationally recognised qualification in Finland.

No. There are no administrative or recruitment fees to join our process or to be matched with an employer.

We believe in full transparency. You pay directly for your language training, residence permit/VFS fees, and medical/police certificates. Zotno will refund the language training and permit fees after your successful relocation and start of employment. Flight tickets are paid by you in advance; reimbursement depends on the hiring company’s policy. There are no hidden fees.

You need to reach level A2 (CEFR) before moving to Finland and continue to B1 level after arrival. You are free to choose any quality language institute in Bangladesh. Zotno recommends the Dhaka Career Training Center at Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

You may receive a Conditional Job Offer early in the process. Please note that registering for language training or passing the initial interview does not guarantee a final contract. A formal employment contract is signed once you are successfully matched with a specific employer and meet their requirements.

If you do not pass, our team will discuss your situation and options. You will typically be given guidance and, depending on the circumstances, an opportunity to retry.

The timeline depends on your language learning pace and employer matching. Typically, the process from initial application to relocation takes between 6 to 12 months.

Your initial gross salary will start from 2000€ per month. You will receive additional compensation for evening shifts, weekend shifts, and holiday bonuses according to the Finnish collective agreement.
